Strandcamping Groede is located between the beach and the polders. The sea is only a couple of minutes walking from the middle of the camping. The camping is located directly behind the dunes along one of the cleanest beaches in the Netherlands. At a safe distance of the beach, yachts and sea vessels make their way to Vlissingen and Antwerp. The sea view changes every time.
When you make your way from the camping to the Groese Polders, you are on your way to Groede Podium and the village of Groede. Here you can enjoy nature, discover history and the children can spend many hours playing and having fun.

Out and about
The village of Groede is at walking distance. This village dates back to the 14th century and is referred to as ‘De Hroe’ in the local language. Be sure to have a drink at one of the many bars on the market. Just a couple of kilometres away from the camping is the pretty fisher’s village of Breskens. Be sure to visit the fishing harbour or take a boat. There is a big chance you will see seals.
If you take the ferry for pedestrians and bicycles, you will be in Vlissingen in no time. You can discover Walcheren by foot, by bike or by public transport. Sluis offers lots of shops and restaurants, which are open 7 days a week.
Across the border
It is easy to discover Flanders from Strandcamping Groede, Bruges, Ghent and Brussels are certainly worth a visit and just a day-trip away. And… how about a daytrip to London or Paris?
