Beautifully situated on a 12 ha domain. with its surrounding forests and the foothills of the mountains, the campsite offers you tastefully furnished pitches. The campsite is located in the middle of a beautiful hilly landscape.

There is an extensive network of mountain bike routes that you can request at the office de tourisme in Hautefort. Also at ± 10 km from the campsite is a company where you can rent mountain bikes. In July and August, our animation team organizes daily sports activities and games for young and old.

The camping
The pitches are well maintained and harmoniously distributed over the grounds with sunny and shaded areas, there is a large choice of mobile homes, chalets or bungalows. Located in the idyllic valley of the Auvézère, you will find – in the north of the Dordogne – Camping Les Tourterelles. The De Haay family has been receiving guests here for over thirty years, in a wooded park of 12 hectares. The campsite has 99 pitches with a number of mobile homes and chalets. Because of its beautiful location you will find peace and tranquility here.

Surroundings
From mid-April to the end of September you can enjoy the legendary gastronomic richness and history of the Dordogne. Such as the castle of Hautefort, the gardens of Terrasson Lavilledieu or the cave in Tourtoirac. The area is ideal for walking, fishing, cycling or horse riding in nature. And discover the many preserved historic villages.

Horse riding
For lovers of horse riding or those who want to learn this activity, Angie’s Ranch is led by Angelique, she has 26 horses and ponies. During the rides through the woods and rivers she tells the peculiarities that have made the Dordogne through the centuries to what it is today. She knows how to captivate young and old!
